Circular Polymer Weaving

In-Zee challenged us to experiment with their PET-Felt, in an effort to repurpose their waste stream. I wanted to work with only rest material and to change the properties of the felt. Therefore, I chose to weave it, since this allows me to do both. Weaving patterns can change various properties, such as strength and flexibility. In order to have a consistent weave I made a machine to cut the felt accurately.
