When working with PET felt at first, I found its stiffness and inflexibility restricting. This however led me to my approach of addressing these and playing around with the idea of setting constraints. By tying rope around heated-up PET felt pieces, I was able to form an imprint and traces of restriction. “Tied up” visualizes the damages done, even after removing the culprit.
