Each vessel is made from crocheting and weaving, exploring its possibilities within shape and pattern. The flexibility yet rigidness of each felt strip lends itself to be used structurally. In search of new forms, stitches are increased and skipped, while weft yarn is pulled to create concave and convex directions, giving impressions of spheres, bowls and triangular prisms. Creating unique vessel characters has led to further curiosity in playing with organic shapes rooted in hyperbolic planes.
