Can we create a symbiosis between plants and plastic?

PET Felt is a soft, yet firm material made of recycled plastic bottles. To make PET Felt fluffier, I created a similar structure to cotton wool which absorbs water very well, therefore making it suitable for planting. The advantage of PET Felt is that it can be reused again for planting. „Till we cross paths again“ is a poetic installation referring to nature, the future of the planet, and plastic. Living in symbiosis is the question of the future as we can not cancel plastic anymore, it is already here.
